“Some people thought I was a mean old bastard whom you didn’t want to cross in a dark alley behind one of the many seedy bars in DC, and they were partially right. It all depended on who you were and why you were there, and what you meant by ‘old.’
Other people thought I was a sick zombie-lover, the sort that marched with the Zombie Outbreak of ‘21, and they were partially right too. What they didn’t know was why I did it.
Still others thought I was once a talented lawyer who had crashed and burned a few years back and now washed up defending back-street blood-sucking scum and the undead because that’s all I could do now. They were partially right too, but for the wrong reasons….”
